Building imaginary bridges
On the lasting childhood dreams,
I land on the sea-shore
To glimpse the rainbow
Adorning the memories horizon.
As quick as a rainbow disappears
Years too have eclipsed into past,
Repenting the past hassles of life
I stood tossing in fluctuating thoughts.
At the dawn of advancing age
The bells of befalling age rang,
A ray of enlightenment lashed me
To understand the ultimate of life.
Some waves, of course move ashore
And, when under my soiled feet
I experience the water gushing
The sulking age suddenly flashes.
Stranded on the verge of sinking
In the grief-stuck waves of solitude,
I aspire, I ought to do something
Something for the deprived lot.
It dawns as usual, cool and bright
Today is but different from the past,
Repenting instead by delving the past
Something I ought to do, now at least.
